Bingo, minus the faff

No pens, no printed cards, no working out whether you've won. Pick a room, get dealt in, and the room finds out together. Here's exactly what happens.

Pick a room

Rooms run all day and open by themselves — you'll never land on an empty lobby. Each one has its own speed, its own win pattern and its own regulars, so you can pick a frantic three-second room or a relaxed one you can play while doing something else.

Want just your friends? Make a private room instead and send them the link. They land straight on a card.

Your card is dealt for you

Standard 75-ball bingo: B is 1–15, I is 16–30, N is 31–45, G is 46–60, O is 61–75, with a free space in the middle. Everyone gets a different card, generated the moment the round starts.

Join mid-round? You'll watch the rest of that one and get your own card for the next. Nobody gets a half-played card.

Numbers get called. You dab.

A number lands every few seconds, the ball pops, and it drops into the history strip so you can catch up if you looked away. Tap a square to dab it — or switch auto-dab on and just watch it happen.

You can't lose by being slow. Wins are worked out on our server against your real card, so dabbing is for the satisfaction, not the scoring.

Somebody shouts BINGO

The moment a card completes the pattern, the whole room finds out at once — confetti, the winner's name, and the points they picked up. If you were close, we'll tell you how close, because being one number away deserves acknowledging.

Then it goes again. A short breather for chat and the next round starts on its own.

Questions people actually ask

Before you jump in

Is Social Bingo really free?
Yes. Every room is free to play, there's nothing to buy, and there are no adverts interrupting a round. Points are for bragging rights — they have no cash value, can't be purchased, and can't be cashed out.
Do I need to download anything?
No. It runs in your browser on a phone, tablet or laptop. You can add it to your home screen if you want it to feel like an app, but there's nothing to install.
Do I need an account to look around?
You can watch any public room without an account. You'll need one to be dealt a card, because a card has to belong to somebody — but signing up is an email and a 6-digit code, no password.
How do the cards work?
Standard 75-ball bingo. Five columns — B is 1–15, I is 16–30, N is 31–45, G is 46–60, O is 61–75 — with a free space in the middle. Every player gets a different card, generated on our server the moment a round starts.
What if I join halfway through a round?
You'll watch the rest of that round and get your own card for the next one. We never deal anybody a half-played card — it wouldn't be fair, and it wouldn't be fun.
Do I have to dab every number myself?
Only if you want to. Auto-dab marks your card for you, and you can flip it on or off mid-round. Winning is decided by our server against your actual card, so you can't lose by being slow — dabbing is for the satisfaction, not the scoring.
Are some of the players AI?
Some of them, yes — quieter rooms get topped up with AI players so you're never playing alone. Every one of them is labelled AI next to their name in chat and in the player list. They play by exactly the same rules as you, they see nothing you can't see, and they never earn points or appear on leaderboards.
What happens if my connection drops?
Nothing bad. Your card lives on our server, not in your browser. Reconnect and you'll pick up exactly where the room is — and if a number you needed was called while you were away, it'll already be marked.
How do I play with just my friends?
Create a room, set it to invite-only, and send the link. Only people with the link get in, and the chat is just your group.
Someone's being unpleasant in chat. What do I do?
Report the message and a moderator picks it up. You can also mute a player so you stop seeing them. Rooms are meant to be a laugh — we'd rather lose one loud person than a whole room.

That's the whole game.

Nine rooms are open right now. Pick one and you'll have a card inside thirty seconds.
